Beyonce's boobs
HOUSTON—
Attention all single ladies: It’s time to get your boogie shoes on.
Hometown hottie Beyonce is inviting her fans to create dance videos
to her hit song, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”
---------------
---------------
The best video will be shown during Beyonce’s 2009 world tour
and earn its maker a cool $2,500.
The rules are simple.
Contestants in the videos should adhere precisely to the “Single Ladies”
dance routine performed by Beyonce
and her dancers in the original music video.
Videos should contain no original choreography.
=====================
Beyonce's Oscar performance with Hugh Jackman was a broad,
family-friendly tribute to the musical.
But, she had a split second moment of nudity
thanks to a bit of a wardrobe malfunction.
Belly Art for pregnancy women
Now there's a growing trend among moms-to-be that has them boldly showing
that baby bump in an artistic twist to the tummy!
Carla Tarantino-Marie is making her pregnant belly an art canvas
as a keepsake of her pregnancy.
"I planned this to be my only baby and only pregnancy,
so I wanted it to be extra special in every way," Carla Tarantino-Marie says.
"It's going to be a nice way to make my big round belly to feel
a little more festive and maybe pretty."
Belly painting is a growing trend among expectant women.
The American Pregnancy Association attributes it to the Internet
where one photo can inspire many people.
They think henna tattoos and belly painting can add to the experience.
"These are fun things to make that nine month journey easier and more enjoyable,"
Brad Imler of the American Pregnancy Association says.

Aishwarya Rai hits the Pink Carpet for ‘Pink Panther 2’
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been riding a tsunami of publicity
with the Feb. 6 release of the Columbia Pictures comedy "The Pink Panther 2."
She blew kisses at fans on the "pink" carpet at the film's
New York premiere Feb. 2, wearing an Alberta Ferretti black gown,
Jimmy Choo diamond-strapped shoes, an Armani clutch-purse
and a simple diamond necklace — with husband Abhishek Bachchan
in tow, along with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.
She also appeared on the Martha Stewart Show, making valentines no less,
and on The Tyra Banks Show.
While Rai was in New York to promote the film, she was accompanied
by her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, who had just finished shooting
for Mani Ratnam's next film, "Ravan."
Since Feb. 5 was Bachchan's birthday, they spent it at a quiet family dinner,
Bachchan told India-West by phone Feb. 6.
"It's been great fun," Bachchan said of the "Pink Panther 2" experience.
Despite what some in the Indian media had speculated before the film's release,
Rai has quite a substantial role in the film — one whose importance
can't be given away here.
She plays Sonia, a surveillance expert who captures the attention
of bumbling French detective Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Steve Martin).
Critics have been unmerciful, calling the film "unfunny" and "dreadfully unnecessary".
"Wasn't it bad enough the first time?" asks Rolling Stone.
Critics have found fault with Rai's performance as well.
Screen Daily said she was "all at sea" in her role opposite biggies like Martin,
Andy Garcia, John Cleese and Jeremy Irons, while many other outlets
seemed not to notice her presence except as exotic Indian eye candy.
"The Pink Panther 2" is a sequel to the 2006 worldwide hit,
which was a remake of the classic '60s film comedy series starring Peter Sellers.
It is directed by Harald Zwart.
Filmed in Paris, Rome and other photogenic European locations
(including Boston, substituting for Paris and Rome), the film follows a team of crack
international investigators, headed by Clouseau, who are on the trail of a brilliant,
large pink diamond called the Pink Panther.
Rai has earned praise from her colleagues in the film.
Costar Jean Reno, who plays Clouseau's sidekick, said in a statement:
"Aishwarya: the green eyes, the beauty! Wow!
The surprise it is that she has a big sense of humor, always laughing,
which is fantastic for a beautiful woman. And she is always ready to act!"
"You'll see her in person, and you say, 'Wow, that's a really beautiful girl,'"
observes producer Robert Simonds, "and then you look at the monitor
and she's translucent. I can't imagine anybody who we would have had play Sonia
other than her. She is so charming, intelligent, funny and powerful —
she lights up the whole frame."
Rai herself said she was happy that there were already plenty
of "The Pink Panther" fans in India.
"When I was cast, there was a spontaneous reaction from people
where they were just happy for me be a part of this film,"
she says in the film's press notes.
This is Rai's fifth English-language film after "Provoked," "The Last Legion,"
"Mistress of Spices" and "Bride & Prejudice."
"The Pink Panther" earned $11.6 million its opening weekend,
making the number four slot at the U.S. box office.

Lady GaGa: I wear no pants
Lady GaGa: 'I Wear no Pants so my Grandma Can See me'
Lady GaGa has revealed why she wears skimpy see-through outfits -
so her grandmother can see her.
The New York-born singer - who reached number one in the UK and US
with her debut single Just Dance - dresses scantily-clad because
her "basically blind" grandparent finds it easier to spot.
"My grandmother is basically blind, but she can make out the lighter parts,
like my skin and hair.
She says,
'I can see you, because you have no pants on.' So I'll continue to wear no pants
so that my grandma can see me,"
the 22-year-old told Rolling Stone magazine, adding that she intends to design
her own clothing line.
"I can't wait to do my own line," she said.
"It's definitely something I want to do in the next year as I do have my own style."
=========
However, now it has emerged that there is reportedly a style war
going on between GaGa and none other than Christina Aguilera.
The 'war' has been fuelled by the critics,
who have been accusing both ladies of stealing each others look.
It all reportedly kicked off last year, when Christina made her comeback
after taking time off to raise her son Max.
She chose a futuristic look for her new album, complete with PVC catsuits
and a platinum blonde hairstyle,
which was quickly likened to the then up-and-coming Lady GaGa
In fact critics were quick to accuse Christina of 'stealing' GaGa's style,
as in addition to their similar wardrobes, they both liked OTT make-up
and in some photos looked eerily similar.
Christina was quick to respond to the scathing remarks,
saying she had her own style and had never even heard of Lady GaGa,
but found the comparisons amusing.
She added:
"You know, that’s funny that you mention that.
This person was just brought to my attention not too long ago.
I'm not quite sure who this person is, to be honest.
I don't know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn't sure,"
reports The Daily Mail.
"I really don't spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live
a little under a rock in that respect.
I've been in this business so long there's always some comparisons."

Despite Christina's obvious dismissals, Lady GaGa has been more welcoming
about the comparisons, saying:
"Well, it was very flattering when it happened. She’s such a huge star
and if anything I should send her flowers, because a lot of people in America
didn't know who I was until that whole thing happened."

Chris Brown and Rihanna sitting out Grammys
Los Angeles police have confirmed to E! News that Brown, 19,
is being investigated for felony domestic battery.
Per department policy, police are declining to identify the alleged victim.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the Hancock Park area
of Los Angeles. Earlier in the evening, Brown and Rihanna were all smiles
while attending Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy bash together.
In a statement, police say Brown and his companion
"became involved in an argument.
After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated.
The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."
By the time officers arrived on the scene, Brown had split.
There has been no immediate comment from his publicist,
and he has canceled his scheduled performance at tonight's awards.
Rihanna's publicist, Amanda Silverman, would only tell E! News
that the 20-year-old "Disturbia" singer was involved
in a traffic mishap but "is fine."
In a statement, the Recording Academy announced that Rihanna
would not be performing as scheduled at tonight's show.
"We're sorry she is unable to join us this evening."

Miley Cyrus: I'm Not Racist
Miley Cyrus, the Hannah Montana star is being blasted
for being racist by the OCA — a group
“dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being
of Asian Pacific Americans.”
OCA:
“The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes
currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American
community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans.
This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people
mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent…
…Not only has Miley Cyrus and the other individuals in the photograph
encouraged and legitimized the taunting and mocking of people of Asian descent,
she has also insulted her many Asian Pacific American fans",
said George Wu, executive director of OCA.
The inclusion of an Asian Pacific American individual in the photo
does not make it acceptable.
OCA hopes that Miley Cyrus will apologize to her fans
and the APA community for this lapse in judgment and takes the opportunity
to better understand why the gesture is offensive.”
===============
Miley Cyrus is shooting back at critics who accused her
of making a racist gesture, saying recent pictures of her pulling her eyes
into a slanted position was nothing more than a “goofy” face.
“I’ve also been told there are some people upset about some pictures
taken of me with friends making goofy faces!
Well, Im sorry if those people looked at those pics and
took them wrong and out of context,” she says.
“In NO way was I making fun of any ethnicity!
I was simply making a goofy face. When did that become newsworthy …
It seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me …
I definitely feel like the press is trying to make me out
as the new ‘BAD GIRL’”
“I feel like now that Britney is back on top of her game again,
they need someone to pick on! Lucky me,” Cyrus wrote.
The Hannah Montana starlet did not apologize,
but only said she did not want to disappoint her fans.
“You guys know my heart and know the most important things to me
are my friends, family, fans and GOD!
In NO WAY do I want to disappoint any of you!
But when I have made mistakes in the past,
I feel like I’ve owned up to them and apologized,” she added.
Cyrus has hardly been a stranger to controversial photos.
In April of last year, she was criticized when provocative photos
of her posing in a green bra.
A few months later, she apologized for a semi-nude shot
that appeared in Vanity Fair magazine.
JK Rowling made French knight
PARIS (AP) —
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling brought a second French Legion of Honor award
into her family on Tuesday, decades after her great-grandfather received the honor
for battlefield courage during World War I.
President Nicolas Sarkozy bestowed the title of knight in the Legion of Honor on Rowling,
who used her acceptance speech to apologize for the quality of her French accent
and for having given one of the villains in her series a French name.
"I cannot say that I think that I truly deserve it, but the Legion of Honor
has a particular and personal meaning,"
she said in a ceremony in an ornate presidential palace ballroom.
One of her great-grandfathers, who was French, had received it in 1924
for his courage in the Battle of Verdun during the First World War, she said.
Rowling also thanked her readers in France "for not having held a grudge against me
for having given a French name to my evil character" in the series — Lord Voldemort.
"I can assure you that no anti-French feeling was at the origin of this choice,"
she said.
"As a Francophile, I have always been proud of my French blood.
But I needed a name that evokes both power and exoticism."
"Voldemort himself is 100-percent English,"
Rowling said in French, pleading with the audience that included young French teens
to forgive her accent. She noted that she had once taught French in Scotland.
Sarkozy hailed her for entrancing countless French children.
Other foreign celebrities who've been inducted into the Legion of Honor
include American actor Jerry Lewis, director Steven Spielberg,
singer Barbra Streisand and Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer
